The spokesperson also relayed a message from President Trump that he is „laying the groundwork” for a deal with China, and expressed hope that the two nations will soon come to an agreement to lower the current tariffs of 145 and 125 percent. „We feel that all parties involved want to reach an agreement, so the ball is rolling in the right direction,” she said.
