Hamas zwolnił porwanych obywateli Izraela – reakcje na ich uwolnienie.
Eli Szarabi, Ohad Ben Ami and Or Lewi were freed during a „ceremony” organized by Hamas in the city of Deir al-Balah in the central part of the Gaza Strip. Masked and armed fighters brought them on stage, where the kidnapped individuals were forced to deliver propaganda speeches and pose for photos with Hamas representatives. The visibly emaciated hostages were dressed in uniforms resembling prisoner clothing and also held up „certificates” confirming their release.
„We will not leave this unanswered”
The Israeli military confirmed that the hostages had been taken by the Red Cross and the three men will soon return to their country. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office, currently on a visit to the USA, announced that the Israeli government will not leave the „shocking” treatment of the released hostages unanswered.
