Odkryto nieznane taśmy ze studia Michaela Jacksona – gratka dla fanów!
Gregg Musgrove, a former California highway patrol officer, stumbled upon Michael Jackson’s tapes. The media reports that his colleague contacted him about a recently purchased warehouse in the San Fernando Valley, which in the past belonged to producer and musician Bryan Loren. Loren collaborated with Jackson on his eighth studio album „Dangerous” (1991), as well as worked with artists such as Whitney Houston, Sting, and Barry White.
The discovered tapes contain 12 unreleased songs that Jackson was working on before the release of „Dangerous”, around 1989 to 1991. However, the songs cannot be made public. „The Hollywood Reporter” indicates that for unknown reasons, Jackson’s heirs declined to purchase the tapes, but provided Musgrove with a letter stating that they do not claim ownership rights to them. They made it clear, though, that anyone who could acquire the tapes from Musgrove is not the owner of the copyright to the recordings or compositions, which means they cannot be publicly released.
Despite not being able to release the tapes, they hold great value. Musgrove plans to auction the tapes, where they are sure to be a sought-after item for collectors and die-hard fans alike.
In November, Quincy Jones, Jackson’s producer, passed away at the age of 91. Together with Jackson, he created the albums „Off the Wall”, „Thriller”, and „Bad”. Their fusion of disco, funk, rock, R&B, and jazz propelled Jackson to music icon status and influenced future generations of artists. Michael Jackson, who died in 2009 at the age of 50 due to cardiac arrest, left behind a lasting legacy in the music industry.
British Channel 4 is preparing a four-episode documentary series about the pop icon. The series will trace Jackson’s life from childhood stardom to his downfall in his later years. Using archival materials, the documentary will delve into the almost entirely camera-documented life of the legendary singer, providing a deeper understanding of his journey.
The documentary will also examine the 2005 trial that captivated the media, with over two thousand journalists reporting live from California. The trial, which saw Jackson acquitted of allegations of molesting a 13-year-old, will be scrutinized in light of journalistic ethics, the American legal system, and issues related to race and fame.
Michael Jackson’s legacy continues to be a subject of fascination and scrutiny, as his impact on music and pop culture remains significant to this day.
