Plan Trumpa dotyczący nielegalnych imigrantów jest zaskakujący

Donal Trump’s Surprising Plan

According to „The Sun,” on Saturday evening, a source close to the Trump camp revealed that „President-elect’s team is considering deporting illegal immigrants to Rwanda and other countries so that they cannot remain on American soil.” Trump and Vice President-elect JD Vance have promised mass deportations and suggested that they will limit the use of Temporary Protected Status, which allows migrants from countries with dangerous conditions to temporarily reside and work in the United States. Currently, over a million immigrants benefit from this status. Trump also suggested that Haitians with this status, who live and work in Springfield, Ohio, are eating their neighbors’ pets.

The idea of sending migrants to a third country was mentioned back in May by the „Wall Street Journal,” quoting Tom Homan, who headed the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during Trump’s first presidency. Homan stated, „I agree with the president, it must be a historic deportation operation because we had a historic influx. If you are here illegally, you better watch your back.”

Trump claims that the Biden administration has allowed over 10 million people to illegally enter the USA, increasing the total number of illegal immigrants to 20 million. Rwanda, with a population of over 14 million and a population density of 550 people per square kilometer, is one of the most densely populated countries in Africa.

Previously, a similar solution was attempted by the conservative government of the United Kingdom. However, it was abandoned by the new Prime Minister Keir Starmer when it was discovered that despite spending over 700 million pounds, only one person was sent to Rwanda. Later, Germany’s special representative for migration agreements, Joachim Stamp, encouraged the European Union to use existing asylum centers in Rwanda for its needs.

As the debate over immigration policies continues, it remains to be seen how Trump’s plan to deport illegal immigrants to Rwanda and other countries will unfold. The idea of mass deportations has sparked controversy and raised concerns about human rights and international agreements. Trump’s administration is expected to face challenges in implementing such a drastic measure, and it is unclear how other countries, including Rwanda, will respond to this proposal.
