Roboty drogowe na autostradach A1 i A2 – co zrobić, aby uniknąć utrudnień dla kierowców?
General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in Łódź has announced that from Monday to Friday (June 17-21) they will be renewing the road markings on the A1 and A2 motorways in the Łódź region. The works will cover a total of over 60 kilometers of both routes.
From Monday, June 17 to Thursday, June 20, work will be carried out on the westbound lane (towards Katowice) of the A1 motorway – from the Łódź Wschód junction to the Tuszyn junction (approximately 26 km).
On Thursday, June 20 and Friday, June 21, workers with lane painting machines will move to the southbound lane of the A2 motorway (towards Warsaw) – from the Łódź Północ junction to the Skierniewice junction (over 35 km).
„To minimize inconvenience for drivers, we have decided that work on both sections will be carried out at night – from 7 pm to 6 am,” said Maciej Zalewski, a spokesperson for GDDKiA in Łódź.
Drivers in the Mazovia region will also encounter night-time disruptions. From June 17 to 21, between 9 pm and 6 am, work will be carried out on the construction of toll booths on the A2 motorway between the Pruszków and Konotopa junctions near Warsaw.
These road maintenance works are essential for ensuring the safety and efficiency of the motorways in the region. GDDKiA urges drivers to exercise caution and follow any temporary traffic signs or directions provided by road workers during the works.
The Directorate also reminds drivers to obey speed limits and maintain safe distances from road maintenance vehicles and personnel. Any delays or inconveniences caused by the roadworks are unavoidable, but the improvements to the road infrastructure will benefit all road users in the long run.
In conclusion, the roadworks on the A1 and A2 motorways in the Łódź region and Mazovia are necessary for maintaining and improving the quality of the road network. Drivers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and be prepared for potential delays during the construction works.
