Zapadł wyrok w sprawie wpływowego szefa Pruszkowa po 20 latach

Janusz P. alias Parasol, a notorious member of the so-called management of the Pruszkow mafia, was accused of crimes from the years 1995-2003. The most serious accusation was related to inciting members of the „Bryndziaków” group (considered the most ruthless gang of this suburban criminal corporation) to murder Dariusz P. alias Bolo from Grodzisk. The latter was associated with „Pruszkow” in the 90s and had a large gang under his command. After the shooting of „Pershing” in 1999 and the crackdown on the underworld mafia by the police, he became associated with the Ożarów group, with whom he had already done business before. The assassination of „Bolo from Grodzisk” never took place. According to information from Pruszkownews.pl, the gangster passed away in April 2023.

Parasol was also accused of organizing a robbery at the Max Trade company in 1996 in Bemowo, Warsaw. A total of 200,000 PLN was stolen. Zygmunt R. alias Bolo (another member of the „management” of the Pruszkow mafia) was also tried for the same crimes over the years but he passed away in 2021. Janusz P. maintained his innocence from the beginning. He argued that the entire indictment was based on lies from the criminal and thief Jack R. alias Sankul, the main witness in the case. He claimed that the witness’s motivation was to avoid prison and buy his way out in the prosecutor’s office by incriminating the so-called „Pruszkow bosses”. According to Parasol, he, Bolo, and Słowik (acquitted in the main thread) were „accused only to ensure the publicity of the trial”.

The court had no doubts about Parasol’s guilt and sentenced him to a total of 10 years in prison. The verdict is not final. The boss will await the appeal in freedom. Prok. Waldemar Tyl, one of the authors of the indictment in the case dubbed by the media as „little Pruszkow”, stated that it is difficult to say whether he feels satisfied with the verdict. The indictment in this case, involving dozens of people, was sent to court in 2005. Over the course of 20 years, various events took place in the case. Parasol served a seven-year sentence from 2000 for leading the Pruszkow gang.

Despite his criminal past, Janusz P. was a respected figure in the underworld. He started his criminal career with the founder of the Pruszkow gang, Ireneusz P. alias Barabasz. Together with other gang members, they carried out robberies in Pruszkow in the late 70s and early 80s. Parasol narrowly escaped death in June 1999 when he was shot on Wojska Polskiego Street near the U Stacha pavilion. He survived the shooting and made it to a taxi stand, shouting that he had been shot twice. A taxi driver took him to the hospital.

Janusz P. was known for his ruthless nature. In January 1994, masked gang members attacked a house in Pruszkow. The attackers shot the owner, threatened his wife with rape, and held a gun to the head of their young child. This incident was particularly heinous because the victim had testified against Parasol and another individual in a rape case six years earlier.

The Pruszkow gang, established in the late 80s, was the largest organized crime group in Poland for over a decade. The gang operated similarly to the American mafia, with a six-member board overseeing various criminal activities. They made millions of złoty from drug trafficking, extortion, and robberies. The gang was involved in violent conflicts with rival groups, resulting in multiple deaths.

Despite their criminal past, some of the Pruszkow bosses attempted to reactivate the gang in the years 2008-2013, albeit with a smaller membership and less influence in the Polish criminal underworld. Ultimately, the gang’s prominence faded, and many members faced legal consequences for their actions.
