Ziobro odpowiada na raport Bodnara: „Zbrodniarz wielokrotnie skazany”

Andrzej Bodnar, a repeat offender who consistently breaks the law and commits numerous abuses, now wants to pretend to be just and fair. What a joke! And it’s not even the one who was jumping under the Sejm. Today, Bodnar accuses from a position of strength and violence. He has come up with 200 political cases, but tomorrow he will stand trial himself. Here are a few key examples of actions related to the instrumental and criminal subordination of justice by A. Bodnar – all committed in the interest of the ruling party and for his own career,” wrote Zbigniew Ziobro on the X platform.

According to him, this included „seeking legal grounds for the criminal takeover of public media,” „removing the only legal Attorney General from performing his duties and unlawfully blocking his functioning for over a year,” „brazen and illegal dismissal of successive Deputy Attorney Generals and heads of regional, district, and county prosecutors,” or „appointing an impostor illegally performing the rights and duties of the Attorney General.”

He also accused Bodnar of: unlawfully dismissing presidents of courts, supporting the illegal blocking by the Prime Minister of the publication of Constitutional Tribunal judgments, unlawfully questioning the validity of Supreme Court judgments when they do not align with the current government’s agenda, initiating and accepting the bypassing of statutory principles governing the impartial assignment of cases to judges in criminal departments. Another accusation is „twisting and not initiating numerous cases at the request of the current government.” Ziobro: Is Bodnar trying to pretend to be Cato?!

„And the example that surpasses all others? Let’s go – numerous financial benefits accepted by a party colleague (b.) of the Senate Marshal (Tomasz Grodzki). Over a hundred witnesses confirm this under the threat of criminal liability, and the case? Blatantly twisted before everyone’s eyes! And now this same Bodnar is trying to pretend to be Cato?!” – wrote Ziobro.

The Prosecutor General’s Office published a partial report on the audit of proceedings during the United Right’s government from 2016-2023. The report covers 200 out of 600 cases examined by a team of prosecutors at the Prosecutor General’s Office. According to the PG’s Office, in 163 of the cases examined, significant irregularities were found.

Among all 200 cases, 51 were described in separate categories as „proceedings concerning the Regional Prosecutor in Lublin” and „proceedings initiated against independent judges and prosecutors.” Of the remaining 149 cases – which in many cases concern highly publicized and controversial events – serious reservations were found in 112, which – according to the PG’s Office – should result in criminal and disciplinary responsibility.
